I don't think members realize just how important they are to an rpg. If you don't, I hope this contest will convince you otherwise. I believe members should have a say in the shaping of a website, not just staff. This contest has been created for that purpose. I'm asking all of you, what should be changed, added or removed from Lenova to make it perfect for you? Don't be afraid to reach big; suggestions can be anything from changing the smiley faces, to adding store items and even to redoing the site's format coding. Anything you want to see changed and anything you think will make us better, we want to hear it. Everyone who makes a suggestion will receive 50 points per suggestion. Suggestions that change the appearance or functioning of Lenova will be voted on in the end, and then the changes that you guys agree on will be made. Suggestions will be listed below. If you're suggesting an item for the store, please suggest a price for the store items as well. As a site coder myself, and the owner of many sites, here are my suggestions (have been waiting for something like this!):
first, for rping boards,
`we need more boards, even if it is more subboards with in our original boards, as it is, we're all jammed together with in five boards, and your posts get easily lost as other people post there. my suggestion is that we add some more subboards, maybe even an extra board for maybe master-master interaction, where masters can 'claim' younger masters to help train them up sorta thing?
next, overall site help;;
`first, we should have an open thread post that is made into an announcement to help members who have open threads get the word out so that they can get the thread active. just reply to the open thread thread, and your thread gets added to the list, and then you can hopefully get replies sorta thing.
`next, it'd be nice if we could have a separate board for character logs, not a joined board with the plots. It'd make it easier to go through and find the logs. Also, I'd love it if we could have a subboard in the log board for a thread log, that way we never have to worry about losing our threads.
site wise;
` while the skin we have now is pretty lovely, I'd love it if we could snaz it up a bit in some areas that coding isn't at it's best, even if it's things like some pretty coding to make our threads nicer, or maybe a code to make a border around the descriptions. make the site look more professional and have others more eager to join.
more suggestions to come as I think of them.

well for starters, we definitely should get the posting template code - cool code, lets you set your character posting codes as templates that you can click on in posts. Also a counter code, not like word count at the bottom of messages, but a counter on the side, because the word count includes the codes you're using, and the rest of the stuff, making it difficult to really see how long your post is. A PM pop up code would be awesome to, where you get a pop up to let you know when you have a new pm. Umm. I'll keep thinking of stuff to add as well <3

Okay let's see...
First, I think there should be a separate section for the games rather than stuffing them with all the other threads. It'll just make things easier and less crowded. Perhaps making it a sub-board or something?
There should probably be a form to fill out for foaling, since there seems to be one missing.
There should also be another layout for those who prefer lighter skins over the darker ones. I don't mean getting rid of this one, cause I personally like it, but add another that members have the option of choosing instead. I've met quite a few rpers who turn away from sites that are too dark (in appearance) for their liking. I'm always up for making pics, if ya want? 
The plots and logs should be separate sub-boards. I really hate having to dig through the logs trying to find people to plot with, or when I'm trying to see details on certain horses it's a pain trying to find the right log through all the plot threads.
Scars could be added to the store under free stuff or if you want to make them worth something..? idk -is thinking of Angelina as I'm typing this- xD

You received 250 points for your suggestions! Most of them were a slap in the face to me, I didn't realize we didn't have a foaling form! I'll get on the seperate board for games, add the scars to the store and also get the foaling form up right now.
Scars don't have to be bought because they can be earned through rp, such as the case with Avanti getting attacked by Arson... He'll have a lovely hideous scar on his neck from that <3

Hey guys,
Okay well I know I haven't been around much, but that is due to computer/internet issues. I only have a few concerns and one lays on the hidden boards when you aren't logged in. My phone isn't always very cooperative and it would be so much easier to know what is going on without having to log in. I also believe it makes ti more appealing to guests that the boards be open and read by everyone, giving them knowledge of everything that goes on here.
Okay that is all I really have, I'm off to post while I have this internet XD

OMG, could we have the option to buy colored names?! I would LOVE that, I'm a sucker for a fancy colored name! :)
So like we could buy single colors, or alternating, etc. The more complex, the more it costs.
But obviously reserve certain colors for the mods and such lol.

Wow, all of these suggestions sounds so sophisticated. XD But I agree with all of them. And a few suggestions to add myself....
Perhaps, I know this isn't all that necessary, but when making a graphics shop, perhaps there could be an example thread, showing how it could be set up, as in prices, layout, all that pizazz. As a graphics shop owner myself, I found it hard to decide on prices, so perhaps ranges could be set up? And then leave it to the maker whether they want higher in the range or lower. *shrugs* I just wanted to see if I was the only ones having problems with that. XD
Another suggestion, perhaps in the accepted characters board, maybe it could be split mainly into separation of the two genders, and then, if possible split them into master and slave. Or have four sub boards within the first board of female slaves, male slaves, female masters, male master, that kind of thing. So that way, if someone were to be looking for....say a female slave? Then they could go in, click female slave, and automatically skip looking through mixed genders. I think it would make the area look more organized as well.
For the taken names thread in joining, I've seen on another site, where not only does it show taken names, but WHO has those characters. ^^ And instead of just being a taken names thread it's also a directory, and the character has a link in its name, sending that person to their bio. I think it'd be cool, because then you can go in there, and not only clear up any confusion you may or may not have been having [the site I saw it on was one character per account, so a little different] and also know which names are taken.
Perhaps there could be more subboards in the IC boards. Like, for instance in exploration, each board could have at least two different places to go to. If that makes sense? Like, a site I know has boards labeled certain things, and then within that board are five or six different places to choose from, all with their unique description and/or background. I'm not saying there has to be five or six, but more options to rp in would be great. I would love helping out with this as well, if help is needed/wanted. ^^
And as a tentative suggestion, for claimable lands, not all, but some could have little subboards within them that are like safehavens, or meeting places, places where a non herd member could be and not be chased off the territory and also where herd members who want to get away for a while can get away and still be considered within their herd boundaries. But like I was saying, it doesn't have to be all of them, perhaps its just one.

More suggestions to play off the ones mentioned above:
for armor, i saw on another site how they had different types of armor that helped add to your likely hood of being a winner in battle (just saying that's why the had the armor, not that we should use that) but, anyways, what if we went ahead and did something like that, giving different types of armor, so that you could either buy a head protector, by a chest plate, or maybe at a discount, buy a complete package?
for claimable land subboards - on a site I once owned we had it set up that once you claimed the land you could have one free subboard in it. But then for ever additional 5 to 10 members that join your herd, you get another subboard, or like dreamy suggested, you could buy it from the store?
it'd also be nice to get some more contests in too. especially considering how members have replied to this one. keeping them simple and quick, with fun prizes?
and finally - about the graphic's stuff mentioned above. I WOULD LOVE to see an actual board for this kinda stuff, with members having their own subboards sorta thing? That way if you want to have an actual studio, you could, or you could just make a quick thread and have members do it that way? It's difficult anyways, searching through the subboards to find the graphics board, it'd be a lot easier to just be able to find it quickly and affectively by having it right there in the open.
